Fitness goals: After earning my black belt in taekwondo in November 2008, my next goal is to tackle the marathon... and more! I've signed up for the Laugavegur Ultra in central Iceland just a day before my 25th birthday in July. As preparation, I'll be running my first marathon (in Madison, WI) this spring. Any suggestions for other fun races in the Midwest?
Nutrition goals: I'm trying to incorporate more vegetables into my life before I turn 30, and cut out junk food, sweets, and processed foods altogether. For the most part, I have always eaten good, local, organic food (thanks Mom), so I just need to kill a few stray bad habits. I am determined to get my weight down below 114 lbs, and keep it there, so that my doctors can finally stop nagging me (they've been at it since I was in middle school). This whole weight-loss thing will also help with the running, or so I hear...
