I have used this product for nearly a year and find it tasty and very agreeable with my digestive system.
I make protein shakes with it in the mornings using juice, some fruit and 1 or 2 scoops of this powder. It doesn't deliver as much protein per serving as some other products that contain soy protein isolate. I suspect that the balanced nutrition of the whole soybean contributes to my experience. A registered dietician I consulted advised me to eat a diet with the ratio of carbohydrates to protein in a certain range and I find it very easy to meet that need and completely safe and confident when I use this product.
Unfortunately, Trader Joes has chosen to discontinue this product, at least in the Seattle area. Don't know about elsewhere in the US.
It has the Trader Joes label on it but I am attempting to find who their supplier is so I might order directly from them. Too bad Trader Joes, doesn't know a good thing when they see it.
