Though I am a vegetarian, I sometimes miss the smells and spices used in processed meat products. This fake bacon comes pretty darn close to hitting the mark with its smoked smell. The taste and crunchy texture, while not spot-on, are fairly close. If you're looking for a lower fat substitute, it wouldn't hurt to try this out. The serving size is a little small - two pieces - and eating multiple servings at once can pack on the sodium. Preparation is simple and quick.
