If your wine has a significant residual sugar content, you can calculate the calories from carbohydrates and add them to the alcohol calories.

The number of additional calories in a glass of wine from residual sugar are calculated as follows:.
Residual sugar at 2g/L means, in mL:
2g/L = 0.002 grams per mL.
5 oz. glass = 30mL/oz. x 5 oz. = 150 mL.
0.002 x 150mL glass = 0.3 grams.
0.3 grams x 4 calories per gram = 1.2 calories per glass.
