Raw Celery

Average User Rating: * * * *
Crunchy and slightly peppery when eaten raw; lovely when cooked in winter stews for a milder flavour.

Incredibly low in calories so its a great snack! Make sure you wash it well though; celery has one of the highest pesticide residue counts of all vegetables.

make those little ants on a log things that the kids make.. some celery with a little peanut butter on top and raisins.. the raisins actually seem to counteract the taste of the celery, and it's delicious and perfect for lunch because everything I have a few of them I am completely satisfied!

When I was a kid I would ask my grandmother to chop up celery with some salt for me in a bowl. I love it stuffed with goat cheese. My dog is crazy about it and will scarf it down with her breakfast every day. Eat it!
