Pho Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup

Average User Rating: * * * *
Pho Soup consists of beeth broth, thin slices of beef, rice noodles, fresh basil, bean sprouts, sliced fresh jalapenos, lime juice and cilantro. There are several variations to Pho Soup. Some contain soft tendon, meatballs flank and brisket. Some Pho Soup contains onion and mushrooms. This does effect the nutritional value of the meal as meatballs tend to have a higher fat content. It is common to add a hearty helping of hot sauce to the dish as the soup is somewhat bland without condiments.

pho - the most perfect food ever. Perfect. Food. Ever. I crave it - there is something truly magical in a good bowl of pho. I am scared to try to make it home, seems like the thing you need to learn at your mother's knee. Best. Food. Ever.

My goodness, pho is one of my all time favorite noodle soup. But, some restaurants need to stop watering down the soup and give the customers their money's worth; tasty flavorful soup. One of the tastiest pho place is on western and 4th in los angeles, or all pho restaurants around the montery park area. Its a relatively healthy and tastey bowl of soup, and it even came out once on a health magazine that i was reading at a hospital. i give it a 4. Hope you guys try it out! =D

Pho is a complete, delicious meal that I could have 3 times a day, everyday.
I saw on Anthony Bourdain that Pho is eaten by Vietnamese body builders.
Now that I can see the nutrition info, I feel even better after eating it.
