Peanut Blossoms


Ingredients:
48.00 servings Kisses
0.50 teaspoons salt, table
4.00 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
8.00 cups All-Vegetable Shortening
0.50 cups White Sugar
0.50 cups Sugars, Brown
1.00 servings egg
1.00 servings Vanilla Extract
7.00 cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
8.00 teaspoons Baking Soda

I Ate This!
Instructions:
Cream shortening, peanut butter, and sugars. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Mix in flour, soda, and salt. Shape teaspoonful into balls and roll in loose white sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Top each cookie with a Kiss and bake 2-5 minutes more until lightly browned. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
