One Strawberry

Average User Rating: * * *
According to the AD, Americans only consume 12-15 of the recommended 20-35g of fiber per day. One serving of strawberries, which contains 3g of dietary fiber, makes a good contribution to the daily requirement.

actually, dontbedumb, mardinc was right given the stats he/she cited. Carbs have approx 4 calories per gram so 12x4=48.

Having said that, the nutrition facts seem to be different now.

In the way of an actual review --- strawberries are delicious, easy to eat, good for you, and useful for a wide variety of dishes. Eat strawberries!

ok mardinc, think before you speak...fiber is a carb, and when it says carbs that is total carbs(not w/o fiber) notice carbs is bold and fiber is not...its a subcatagory, so that would make it 36 calories with that information. what i see though is 2.1 carbs and .2 protein and that is about right, so before u make a review...think it over.mkay?

These statistics are all wrong. Maybe the calories in one strawberry is 7, but 12 grams carbs and 4 grams fiber in one strawberry? Just do the math: that would be 48 calories, not 7.

Also, dontbedumb, fibre is NOT a carb. Fibre is in a completely different nutritional group to carbohydrates. I dont know where you got that idea from.
