I love mushrooms, they have such an earthy and pure taste. Like clean water with a spongey crunch.
I eat mushrooms whenever I can, because not only are they low in calories, but they are good for you. They have selenium, potassium and phosphorus. As well as trace amounts of other minerals and even some protein.
Taste-to-healt h, I'm biased. I've always loved mushrooms. But finding out they were good for me is just a plus. :)
One of the healthiest things you can do is just wash it and eat it! Mmm!

I can't believe everyone piles sauteed mushrooms high with BUTTER making them super high in calories! NO NEED! I season mushrooms with salt and pepper and heat them in a non stick skillet and they are great. Full of flavor and hardly any calories or fat! SKIP ALL THE BUTTER!
