I don't much care for eggs, but if I'm feeling very snacky, I like to eat a boiled egg since the protein soothes my appetite. Try them with Worchestire sauce!
Great way to get protein .. and few carbs! And Mikey1, eggs are not fertilized and would never become chicks, or anything with flesh. As an active member of PETA, it is true that some egg factories are cruel places. However, you can buy free-range chicken eggs, for a higher price, at many health stores.
Actually, I buy my free-range organic eggs from a neighbor who keeps chickens, (and believe me, they have the full run of everyplace) for 1.25 a dozen. Happy eggs come from happy chickens. Look in craigslist or a nearby farm feed store for someone who sells eggs!
