A friend told me that a banana is the perfect after-workout food. I completely agree! I eat one after every workout and it just seems to be the perfect food at that time. Try it with a tbsp of peanut butter - so good!!

I absolutely love bananas! They are the best when they are yellow with brown spots all over (not large brown spots or sections of all brown--just before that). The starch in the banana really makes it a satisfying sweet treat, especially if you chew it and not gobble it.
