As someone who works a physically active job, I find that these bars are a wonderful way to maintain my energy levels through the day. With 20g of protein, they are a great boost. I wrote to the company and found out that they have a lower glycemic index in the 30's. Also, wheat and dairy free and to top it all off...very tasty too.

This is a replacement and nutritionally better than the P90X Peak Performance bar.

I like its taste better than the Chocolate version.

Overall not too bad. The bar has a good chocolate coating and beneath the chocoate are two layers of peanut flavored ingredients, one that is similar to a wafer and the other more like a nougat. The bar is very nutritious but I didn't think it tasted like any peanut butter I've ever had. I will eat it again but not because of the peanut butter flavor. I rate it a 3 on a scale of 1-5, 5 being delicious.
